Nasibu Abdul Juma Issaack, also known as Diamond Platnumz, was born on the 2nd of October 1989. He was raised by his mother single-handedly. 

Sometimes, he would go to his grandmother’s place for holidays, too. Diamond Platnumz’s background was not easy as his family lived in the city’s capital, Tandale.

Diamond finished his secondary school education in 2002. Then, he gained admission to the University in 2006. Things were not easy for him. So, he engaged in selling some used clothes to support himself.
