Ibrahim Yekeni is the lead actor in the movie Kesari. He plays the role of Ifadola. This role entails him to play a dual role. Ibrahim Yekeni plays the role of a deity and a human. The movie was designed to be about him.
However, the transition and the movement between both roles were confusing to the viewers. In his human form, he plays the role of a notorious armed robber who uses this to help the lowly ones.
However, he has to do this by getting hold of the wealthy ones in the society and taking them of their hard-earned money. But, this role is confusing as he begins the movie by killing a set of robbers causing havoc.
Bolaji Ogummola
The role of Amoke Ade was portrayed by Bolaji. This was Kesari’s lover. A deity having a lover? The affection Kesari had for his lover was undying. On the other hand, Amoke had often reminded herself of the need to replicate the same love for her deity boyfriend. Kesari expresses his feelings for Amoke Ade several times in the movie.
Amoke Ade also benefited from the show of love of Kesari. He offered her gifts and money where necessary. At one point, Kesari almost killed three people because they had angered his lover.
However, her role was not so prominent as the robber was always captured in a shooting fest with his enemies. Thereafter, Amoke Ade showed up disguised as an informant to the police.
Femi Adebayo
Femi Adebayo played the role of a police officer. Since the production of the movie, Femi has always been part of the project. He has appeared as a police officer in all the Itele-themed movies. His role was to stop Kesari and to bring him to the law.
He often paraded his men in a shootout with Kesari. The police officer played a role in investigating the source of Kesari’s power. He vowed to stop the ‘Robinhood’ activities Kesari involved himself in.

Kevin Ikeduba

Viewers did not know where to place this man in the movie. Could he be called Kesari’s father? Could he be called a village historian? Can we refer him to be a god?
His role remained unknown. All we know is that Kesari’s life depends on the information in that book. The wide knowledge in his 200-year stay on earth has contributed to his wisdom. In the movie, Baba was treated with high regard. However, his character was not very expressive.
Debo Adedayo
Debo Adebayo acted as an accomplice to Kesari. He is one of the followers of the notorious robber. Although, he was not shown in the movie so much. His role was almost similar to that of Kevin Ikeduba. Since he is a comedian, he added a bit of comic relief to the movie.
For example, he is known for always scratching his hand whenever he wants to ask a question. There was no mixup in the role of Debo Adedayo as he is now a common face in the Nollywood industry.
