3. Layi Wasabi

Isaac Olayiwola popularly known as Layi Wasabi was one of the winners at the 2024 African Magic Viewer’s Choice Award. He won the category of ‘Best Digital Content’. He was appreciated for his role in the series ‘Medical Negligence and Copyright Infringement’.

He simply highlighted the role of the failing medical sector and how it has a negative effect Layi doesn’t simply just make content, he makes sure to pass a message.

Genoveva Umeh is one of the few actresses in the entertainment industry that gives her best every time. She won her first African Magic Viewer’s Choice Award in 2024 as the ‘Best Supporting Actress’. Genoveva acted in arguably the two biggest movies in 2023. She played a prominent role in ‘Breath of Life’ and ‘The Tribe Called Judah’. However, her performance in the former gave her that award.

Just like Wale Ojo, she was raised in Nigeria and Britain. She left Nigeria at a young age to pursue her education. Also, she was trained as an actress in the United Kingdom. This was not the first time she had been nominated for an African Magic Viewer’s Choice Award. Genoveva was nominated for the role of ‘Best Actress in a Drama’.

5. Nasboi

Nasboi is a Nigerian skit maker and actor. He is renowned for his comical behaviours on various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Nasboi is one of the very few comedians to win an African Magic Viewer’s Choice Award (AMVCA).

He won the category of ‘Best Music Promoter’. He was appreciated for his role in promoting his song ‘Umbrella’ and obtaining a high number of streams. If you recall, Nasboi was not nominated for the category of ‘Social Content Creator’. He was snubbed in this category.

6. BB Sasore
